NAPCA Mission Statement

Committed to Closing the College and Career Aspirations – Attainment Gap for All Students

NAPCA’s mission is to “close the college and career aspirations – attainment gap” by empowering students with the tools and mindsets to define their life’s purpose/career path, break through their barriers, and complete a postsecondary education degree or career training certificate or licensure program, specifically to enter careers that provide a sense of purpose and meaning to their lives.

College and Career Aspirations – Attainment Gap: The distance between a student’s stated college and career aspirations and the realization of completing a postsecondary education degree or career training certificate or licensure program, specifically to be prepared to enter high skilled careers or trades.

About The National Scholarship Fund for Future Physicians of America (NSF-FPA):

The NSF-FPA support students traditionally underrepresented in medicine to eliminate the financial barriers to obtaining a medical school education. The NSF-FPA aims to create an equitable process by providing funding for unmet financial needs related to: unpaid summer internships related to medicine, preparation for medical school, participation in pipeline programs, MCAT test preparation, medical school application costs, medical school admissions costs, and medical school tuition/fees. Support in these key areas creates a fair and equitable process for all students, regardless of race and ethnicity to become a licensed medical physician.
